The accurate quartz movement uses 1 AA battery, and 4 C batteries power the LED's (batteries not included). A rechargable battery powers the Stereo speakers with Bluetooth connection for up to 3 hours on a single charge, a separate universal charger is included. The state of the art software allows up to 10 separate devices to be connected and remembers to re-connects each time.
