Description:
Swan neck pediment features bookmatched, cathedral cherry heartwood with a turned urn finial, carved rosettes, and a fluted keystone.
The poslished brass-finished dial offers elaborate corner spandrels, center disk, a silver chapter ring with black Arabic numerals, and an astrological blue moon phase with a pierced star pattern. Included is a special "83rd Edition Anniversary" inscription located in the hemispheres of the moon phase. Special inscription through 2009 only.
The door is framed by reeded columns that include intricately turned column caps.
Polished brass-finished weight shells and pendulum with a decorative center disk.
The base features a decorative cutout and is accented with a fluted keystone.
Crystal-cut grooved glass on lower door.
Removable glass, top side panels offer easy access to the movement.
